AT4 wireless expands its regulatory testing capacity opening new facilities in Spain

 

| 26 February - 2014 | AT4 wireless announces the opening of new facilities for its Regulatory Laboratories located in Spain, expanding its EMC, RF, Electrical Safety, and SAR testing capabilities.

AT4 wireless has opened new facilities in Spain equipped with new state-of-the-art chambers to provide improved lead times to the industry. The leading Mobile and Wireless Testing Laboratory has already doubled its number of expert engineers in answer to the increasing regulatory testing demand, reinforcing AT4 wireless’ commitment with the mobile and wireless industry.

The investment includes a new semi anechoic chamber  designed to measure at 3 meters (10 feet) and includes a 2-meter turntable up to 1 Ton. This new installation is fully compliant to perform CE and FCC testing for a wide range of mobile and wireless technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G-LTE™, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, etc. To this end, the facilities have also been equipped with auxiliary shielded chambers for radio testing.

AT4 wireless has already in use a semi anechoic chamber for measuring up to 10 meters (33 feet) and thanks to this new investment AT4 wireless extends the reach of its testing offer.
