|24 February, 2017 | Arnhem, AT4 wireless, a DEKRA company, will be simply known as DEKRA as of April 3rd, 2017. The internationally leading wireless and mobile testing & certification company was acquired by DEKRA in June 2015. Both companies are integrating their global network of testing laboratories and services under one brand: DEKRA.

Thanks to the strong international presence of AT4 wireless there are many opportunities to strengthen relationships in different industries through synergies with DEKRA. DEKRA's global Product Testing & Certification division can support customers in diverse industry sectors throughout their value chain, from the ICT & Carrier market to larger and more diverse markets in which connectivity plays an ever increasing role, such as the automotive, healthcare, industrial and the consumer products industry.

In the coming years, important investments in new facilities, testing services, and R&D activities with a focus on new wireless technologies will be made. DEKRA has set the course to ensure safety in the current and future digital world by developing, for example, expertise in vehicle connectivity and automated driving systems. In this context, DEKRA's established expertise as a global market leader for vehicle inspections and the newly integrated fields in electronics and telecommunications complement each other perfectly.

AT4 wireless has developed into DEKRA’s Global Competence Center for wireless testing. The current management team, experts, and go-to contact persons will remain unchanged. This ensures the knowledge, expertise, and experience with customer's products, systems, and processes stay with the right people.
