Cookie policy

In order to make our website user-friendly and tailor it to your needs, we use cookies in some areas. A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer each time you visit a website. When you visit the website again using the same device, the cookie indicates, for example, that it is a repeat visit. Cookies also allow us to analyze the use of our website. You can change your browser's cookie settings yourself.

You can specify the acceptance or rejection of cookies—including those used for web tracking—through your web browser settings. You can configure your browser to systematically block cookies or to inform you in advance each time a cookie is being stored. However, in these cases, certain website functions may be affected (e.g., ordering). Your browser also offers a function for deleting cookies (e.g., deleting browsing data via the browser). You can find further information in the operating instructions or, generally, in your internet browser settings.

We use different types of cookies:

  1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of our website. Through session cookies, we receive so-called anonymous session IDs. These cookies are used to unify multiple searches on a web server or to ensure the correct functioning of orders and requests.
  2. Marketing and social media cookies
Cookies installed by the website collect information managed by third parties (YouTube, Vimeo) to enable video playback.
  3. Performance and statistics cookies
These cookies collect information about a user's use of our website. However, they do not collect information that allows the user to be personally identified through the data stored in the cookies. The browsing data retrieved by cookies is anonymous and not associated with any individual. They are used to continuously improve the quality of our website.

This cookie policy may be modified by DEKRA at any time, for example, due to updates to our website or changes to the cookie guidelines. We reserve the right to modify the contents of the cookie guidelines and to modify the cookies included in the list at any time and without prior notice.
