Now, Wi-Fi Alliance® members interested in implementing these new features in their products may request AT4 wireless to start the certification process.

Just after the official launch of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED ac with wave 2 features program, AT4 wireless, a DEKRA company, announces that it is ready to perform certification testing for this program “wave 2” features.

Wi-Fi Alliance is expanding Wi-Fi CERTIFIED ac to include new features that provide a higher-performance Wi-Fi^® experience. New features enable Wi-Fi to more efficiently handle high-bandwidth applications from an increasing number of smartphones, tablets, TVs, and other consumer electronics devices simultaneously connected to Wi-Fi networks. Wi-Fi CERTIFIED ac delivers greater network capacity and multi-gigabit speeds to benefit consumers, service providers, and enterprises.

Adding this new program to its Wi-Fi Test Lab scope, AT4 wireless is still covering each and every certification program designed by Wi-Fi Alliance to assure tested and proven interoperability among Wi-Fi devices. This milestone confirms AT4 wireless as the most comprehensive Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Laboratory in Europe and one of the only two accredited labs in the world offering the 100% of the existing WFA programs.
