Adding this recognition to our TCB status, recently received by FCC for the US market, AT4 wireless strengthens its full range of services in the international approval radio devices field.

The recognition of AT4 wireless as Certification Body by the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) took place last May 25th 2016, after AT4 wireless obtained the accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for ISED’s certification scheme by ENAC (Spanish National Accreditation Body) and successfully completed the evaluation from the Spanish Telecommunications and Information Technology Estate Secretariat associated to the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (Minetur).

Radio equipment manufacturers wishing to commercialize their devices in North America not only need to test their products in a laboratory authorized by ISED (Canada) or accredited by FCC (USA), but must also be certified by both bodies as a guarantee that their equipment have complied with the requirements in both countries.

Now, as TCB for US and CB for Canada, AT4 wireless is authorized to assess and review applications submitted by clients to determine compliance with the administrative and technical requirements of certification, with the authority to issue the certification required which evidence such compliance and thus supply more quick and efficient equipment access to the whole North American market.
